Not every oily skin day
needs the same routine.
Two ways to manage your shine. Pick the one that fits how oily you actually are.
Choose your routineChoose your shine control
Both add gentle check-ins to the calendar you already use. No app, no account, nothing new to remember.
Intensive Shine Control
For skin that’s visibly shiny by midday, most days.

Downloading and importing a file will not receive future HYSE updates. Subscribed calendars refresh on their provider’s schedule. Check your calendar notification settings after subscribing.

Gentle Shine Maintenance
For skin that gets a little shiny by the evening.

A reminder is a check-in, not a command. Blot only if you need to. Not sure which to pick? Go by the description, not by how bad you think your skin is. You can switch any time.
The routine around the reminders
Three steps. Two of them happen at the sink. The third is the one the calendar carries for you.
Cleanse
Morning and night, with a face wash made for oily skin.
Lightly moisturise
Choose a lightweight moisturiser to keep skin hydrated.
Check in and blot
When the reminder lands, look. If there’s shine, press and lift with Hyse. If not, carry on.
Keep Hyse close for when the reminder arrives.
Shop the blotting rollBuilt for ADHD reality, not perfect-routine pressure.
Hyse’s founder has ADHD. The reminders exist because knowing what helps isn’t the same as remembering to do it.
Missed a check-in? There’s nothing to catch up on.
The useful details
Both routines are optional support. There’s no wrong choice.
Which routine should I choose?
If your forehead or nose looks shiny by lunchtime on a normal day, start with Intensive. If shine only shows up by late afternoon or evening, try Gentle. To switch, unsubscribe from your existing HYSE calendar, then add the other routine. If you previously imported HYSE events, remove those recurring events first.
Do I have to blot at every check-in?
No. The reminder is a moment to look, not an instruction. If there’s no shine, ignore it and move on.
Will the reminders repeat?
Yes, every day, in your own calendar. Subscriptions receive HYSE updates when your calendar refreshes; the timing is controlled by your provider. Check that notifications are enabled. To stop, unsubscribe from the HYSE calendar.
Do I need an app?
No new app or HYSE account. It uses your existing calendar. In Instagram, you may need to open this page in Safari or Chrome to finish subscribing.
